The IRS recently released its’
summer 2010 edition of their
Employee Plans News. The
Employee Plans News is a periodic IRS newsletter with retirement plan information for retirement plan sponsors, administrators and participants. The IRS releases each edition quarterly and provides tips and updates on the retirement plan industry including regulations and rules.
The 2010 summer edition provides answers and feedback to their 2010 spring edition’s compliance and 5500 testing questionnaire as well as reminds 2009 calendar-year plans that their 5500 forms must be filed by the August 2, 2010 deadline. The edition also announces six nationwide Tax Forums being held this summer, sponsored by the IRS, which will include seminars on behalf of Employee Plans.
